It's Me, Esme

I've rambled a bit about me and transgender, and subsequently alienated everyone else, but I didn't really talk much about myself. Sure, TG is a part of my life, but only a part. It is not the beginning and end, the alpha and the omega, of Kaylee Matthews. I am a complex individual (Boy, am I...) and in some ways, TG is a small part of me.

So, who is Kaylee outside of that?

Well, I'd like to think I'm smart, although I have my fair share of blonde moments. I often will miss the forest for the trees in the way. I read a lot, I love movies, I am a cat person...I am really just your average girl, aside from, well... ;)

I'm something of a writer, although you have likely never read anything I've written, because almost no one has except for my closest friends. I would love to see something published some day. Interestingly enough, for being a writer, I often find it hard to find words to express myself. I can better express myself through characters, which is likely another reason I'm sometimes Kaylee. Easier to be myself when I'm someone else.

I love Celtic music, or silly music, or anything I can listen to in the background and not be distracted. It helps with the writing, and doesn't get in the way. Screamy music is not my thing.

So yeah, I am pretty average, and I'm probably missing out some key details, but I have a habit of doing that, and remembering later. That just means more things to post! If anyone ever eventually finds these words, feel free to pick my brain, just put things back where you find them.
